False statements from top to bottom. Pimental and Patzek are not the sole sources of EROEI studies on ethanol. This is a strawman you have constructed to make your argument look good. Go back to grade school and take an entry level logic course please.

Further, the EROEI on ethanol is NOT 1.57 or 1.77 to 1. The 2002 USDA study has already been criticized for not accounting for all energy inputs used in production of the corn. When taking those inputs into account, the net energy falls below 1.0.

Finally, carbon studies have demonstrated that production of corn ethanol actually results in more greenhouse gas production than use of regular fossil fuels because of the volume of fossil fuels needed to produce the ethanol.

Your entire essay is flawed as well as deliberately constructed to let you dismiss every single opponent without regards to their facts. In every case you try to dismiss opponents via ad hominem attacks rather than a review of the facts or you appeal to outdated and discredited studies that are no longer considered valid work in the field.
